How to: Beach Babe Style

How to: Beach Babe Style

Who says you can't glam up for the beach?  Whether you are laying out by the pool or hitting the sands - here are my personal beach babe styling tips.

1. Pick a suit that feels "you":  Swimwear is fun and comes in a range of looks and themes. But the best way to be comfortable in the water is to pick a style that you can be confident in. Cutouts and large floral prints may be a trend, but choose suits that match your personal style and wardrobe. This way it will have more longevity in your closet, instead of last one season. I love one-pieces and normally wear black & gold so naturally gravitated towards this leather-like suit.

2. Keep your hair simple: beach waves, straight and parted down the front, top knot, braid -  whatever you choose pick a low maintenance do' and avoid tons of product.

3. Makeup should be fresh & clean - a little SPF tinted moisturizer, mascara, and lip balm should get you through the day. I avoid getting caked on before hitting the sun (nobody likes a melted face on the beach!) less is definitely more.

4. Accessorize -  Like any other outfit, accessories takes your look one step further. Choose fun sunglasses, metallic sandals, a chiffon cover up, even a fun statement beach necklace or bangles if you're heading to a pool party. Whatever you choose - keep it fun and "you" with your own personal touch!

This specific suit is from Missguided and might sell out soon. See link
