Spring in Sonoma
Ready for sunshine and warmer days? Hope you're all excited to break out those skirts for Spring! I spent the day in Sonoma, CA with friends at the Chateau St. Jean winery. The scenes around wine country are absolutely gorgeous. It was the perfect day for a quick shoot.
Time to shed the layers of sweaters you've been wearing all winter! I chose a light and breezy high low skirt, paired with a dolman cut lace top. Easy, comfortable, and dressy enough for the occasion (without going overboard). The idea around Spring dressing is to keep it simple and light.
In contrast to rich, dark winter colors - it's fun to choose pale pastels for the season. I paired this blush skirt with cream, nude, and tan leather accessories to keep with a more neutral palette.
The lace details and flowy skirt keep the look romantic. Also paired the top with a very discreet nude colored bandeau, to keep the focus on the lace.
Metallics such as silver and gold give the look a touch of glamour. The bow and heart also add cute feminine details.
Definitely a great place for lounging with friends, breathtaking scenes, and of course great wine. An absolutely amazing day in Sonoma!
Hope this post inspires you to lighten your look this season!
